Overdressed at the Pumpkin Patch

As promised, I will be engaging in all the obligatory holiday festivities to start my Kinsley off on the right foot in life. We are entering mommy's favorite time of year (CHRISTMAS in case anyone needs clarification) so y'all just get ready.

This past weekend we engaged in our first obligatory trip to the Pumpkin Patch. My girlfriend and I had been trying to coordinate a time before we missed the boat and get the kids together and go. Well Sunday was the day. We met after church and the kids had a ball. I had been debating whether Kinsley was too little to enjoy the outing, but after staring at folks including me like they were crazy for about 10 minutes she warmed up and got into it. Although most of the activities were too big for her we had fun in the hay and my niece and nephew were able to climb and enjoy the jumpers, obstacle course and slides.

Enjoy the time capsule of events below as well as some tips for your Pumpkin Patch outing.

Some tips below for pumpkin patchin' with your kiddie…

1. Check the website for specifics- this leads into #2… my girlfriend is a seasoned mommy and she checked the website yet they failed to mention CASH ONLY. Most of the time checking the website can save you headaches with parking and other specifics that may be associated with the event you're attending.

2. Bring cash- Not sure why they don’t take cards in 2019, but hey it’s a farm can’t get too upset about that. I still need them to get a square…just sayin.

3. Bring a jacket- When we got there it was still summer, but we for sure left in winter.

4. Pace yourself- there’s a lot to see and do for the kids.

I must say, we took pics, we laughed, we had fun, but we did not buy pumpkin lol

TIL NEXT YEAR…

Love ya , Mean it,
